In today’s modern age with the abundance of screens and sitting our necks take a hit. Sitting with correct posture is almost an exercise for most people. It’s no wonder that neck tension and migraines caused by neck tightness is commonplace. Obviously no one wants to mess with their neck because they are scared to hurt it more. We at the Stretch Center hope to bridge that gap by using assisted stretching to help your neck pain. We use multiple gentle stretches around the neck to help reduce tightness and improve blood flow to ease that pain.

Overtime stretching with us, the tension in your neck will lessen gradually. This will help reduce the frequency and intensity of your migraines also if you suffer from those. As your neck relaxes more and more, we encourage you to do some posture checks whenever you feel like the neck tension arises. For example, when you’re sitting on the computer at work or on your phone at home, take a quick second and reset your posture. That’s just an easy way to stay on track with your neck tension and migraines.

Assisted stretching helps with relaxation and stress relief, which both help in managing migraines. Stress is a common trigger for headaches, so finding ways to relax is key (use posture checks). Stretching can help calm your mind and body, making it easier to handle stress and reduce the chance of migraines. Overall, incorporating assisted stretching into your routine can be a simple and effective way to alleviate neck tension and manage migraines.
